Is it really free?

Yes. Browsing, learning and practising are free, and you do not need an account to try. A paid subscription will later add things like mock papers, detailed weakness reports and a parent dashboard — but the free tier is meant to be a complete, useful product on its own, not a demo.

Is the content written by AI?

Yes, and we would rather tell you than have you find out. Questions are generated by software and AI, then checked by several independent automated layers, including an audit by a separate AI from a different provider.

For mathematics specifically, no AI ever computes an answer — a program does, using exact arithmetic, and a second independently written implementation must agree before the question is allowed to exist.

So can I trust the answers?

Mostly, and we have built the site so that you do not have to take our word for it. Every question shows its working, so a wrong answer is visible rather than hidden behind a verdict. And every question has a one-click report button.

We are not claiming perfection. There is no teacher checking every question by hand, and we say so rather than implying otherwise. If something looks wrong, it might be — please report it.

Does it follow the Hong Kong curriculum?

Topics are organised to follow the structure of the Hong Kong curriculum — the strands, units and year levels a Hong Kong student would recognise. We reference the publicly available curriculum documents; we are not affiliated with the Education Bureau or the HKEAA, and we do not follow any publisher's textbook.

Where we have not yet confirmed a topic's year placement against the published curriculum guide, the page says so and that topic is used for practice only.

Will this replace school or a tutor?

No, and it is not trying to. Think of it as one more place to practise, in your own time, at your own pace. Your child's teachers know your child; we know which topics they have and have not mastered here.

Why can't I switch the English or Chinese subject into the other language?

Because in those subjects the text is the thing being learned. Translating an English comprehension passage into Chinese does not translate the exercise — it removes it. Mathematics, Science and Humanities questions do switch, because there the language is a wrapper around the idea rather than the idea itself.

Explanations still follow your chosen language. A Hong Kong student practising English grammar can have the question in English and the explanation in Chinese.

What data do you collect about my child?

As little as we can. A display name (a nickname is fine), the year level, and the year of birth — not the full date. We do not collect identity card numbers, student numbers, photographs, location or contacts.

For children under 13, the account belongs to a parent or guardian, and the child uses a profile under it. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Do I need an account?

Not to try. Without one you can browse every topic and answer a limited number of questions a day, but nothing is saved between visits. An account — free — saves progress across devices and unlocks unlimited practice.
