- The past form of "teach" is "taught".

Common mistakes
- Left the verb as it is. Chinese verbs do not change for the past, but English verbs do.
- Used the -ing form on its own. This text is about something finished, so it needs the past form.
- Applied -ed to a verb that changes its form completely.
